Show The Prospect A "Home"
October 16, 2003
One of the things you should keep in mind when selling your house
is that most prospective buyers want not just a house, but a home.
Fresh flowers and healthy potted plants enhance this homey feeling.
New accessories in the kitchen and bath, such as bright towels and
potholders do the same.
Keep rooms well lighted, windows uncovered. On a wintry day,
light a fire or bake some cookies.
If you can, show photographs of your home when the yard is at
its best, with spring flowers, summer greenery or autumn color.
Clutter detracts, but a few well-chosen objects can enhance
the image of a home full of affection and cheer.
