Your agent can help you determine your price range, target location and the style of home you like. He/she can then start showing you homes that meet your criteria. You should contact your lender and have him/her pre-approve you for a loan. When you've found the house you want, you'll make an offering by signing a contract and putting down a deposit. There may be negotiations. You'll want the home to be inspected, and then you'll secure the mortgage. After the closing, you can finally move in.
