Why Work With A Single Sales Person
August 14, 2003
Some house-hunters suppose that by calling several real estate agents out on the search for the right house they multiply their chances of quick success. In fact, the opposite may be true.
Real estate salespeople work on commission…no salaries, no expense accounts and no income if they don't sell. How can an agent know if it will be profitable to work with you, if in the end you may buy a home from another real estate agent?
The incentive to work vigorously on your behalf in locating a suitable home is greatest when the agent know you are not engaging several others at the same time. Loyalty pays off in the attention you will receive.
